The Cylinder Series (CS) SVS subwoofers are for advanced users with their own separate power amps, subsonic filters and/or equalizers (in addition to a Dolby Digital receiver or separate crossover). If you like to “roll you own” systems with separate components, the CS, CS-Plus and CS-Ultra mirror their Powered Cylinder brothers’ model lineup, but without the critical built-in amp. Should you have capable mono or stereo amps collecting dust, our CS subs are a great way to make great deep bass on a budget too.
